Our Development Partnership
Prior to restricting our search for an OSDC to a
specific partner, Agilis Solutions completed a detailed analysis
of the delivery models, various partnership options, and the viability
of creating our own operations in different countries around the
world. We chose our OSDC partner largely due to the depth and breadth
of their world-class software engineering capability; both in technology
and in process. We feel our analysis effort is indicative of the
thoroughness of the work we do for our clients. For example, the
criteria we used to assess which country we wanted to operate in

Our partner selection process included client interviews,
site visits, and technical capability assessments. Our partner is
Vietnam's largest software development provider. The top reasons
were:
- World-class software engineering capability; both
technically and in processes
- Long-term commitment to continuous process improvement through
the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model
- Certified at SEI/CMM Level 5 in March of 2004 (highest level achievable)
- Operating at Level 5 since early 2003 (regularly validate certification)
- Established track record with technology leaders - HP, Compaq,
IBM, Toshiba, NTT, etc.
- Large base of Software Engineers, Project Managers, and Software
Test Engineers-currently over 1,000-experienced with the latest
languages, protocols, and platforms
- Vietnam's largest high-tech company - currently over 3,000 employees
- Less then 3% annual (engineer) employee turnover-through the last
8 years!
