Example: Industry Embedded Software Printer Drivers; Development; Windows
• This project was to develop a monolithic printer driver for a targeted LINE printer. Since it was a monolithic driver, the development team had to develop the driver from scratch.
• This driver had to manipulate graphic rendering, text rendering, and device font before sending data to the printer. Format of the data stream was provided by the printer vendor.
• Technologies used: ANSI C, Windows 2000/XP/2003 English and Japanese, Office, Lotus, Ichitaro, IE, Netscape, some random applications.
