The company is responsible for providing electricity for the entire country of Vietnam . Its head quarter is located in Hanoi , but it has more than 150 branches/offices in over 61 provinces of Vietnam . In 2001, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) decided to sponsor GPSC in reinforcing and modernizing its management system, which includes the software applications.
Agilis Solutions' OSDC had been selected to develop and deploy the new Billing application for GPSC at its HQ and all branches/offices. At end of the first quarter of 2004, the application had been successfully implemented at HQ, 2 regional centers of GPSC: Hanoi and HoChiMinh City , and more than 100 other branches/offices in Vietnam .
