Example: Industry Embedded Software TCP/IP; Development; Linux
• The purpose of this project was to build and implement front-end TCP/IP software that replaced the standard library provided by the operating system. The front-end should be capable of handling 100K concurrent connections (the standard library supported only 1024 connections). We used the socket pooling to enable the system to handle about 50K connection in a single Linux box.
